1954: Started up as Tokyo Branch Office of Takaoka Hosohaba Textile Co., Ltd. in Midoricho, Sumida-ku, Tokyo.

1958: Relocated to Yanagihara, Taito-ku, Tokyo to become Tokyo Sales Office.

1964: Relocated to Asakusabashi, Taito-ku, Tokyo and separated from Takaoka Hosohaba Textile Co., Ltd. Yoshioka Ori Name Co., Ltd. established.
Shuji Takaoka appointed president.

1968: Company name changed to TOKYO YOSHIOKA Co., Ltd.
